The Happy Meal at McDonald's won't be on the menu for some Californian kids. Last week, San Francisco became the first place to ban food establishments from offering toys with meals that contain more than 600 calories.
The law requires meals that contain toys include fruits, vegetables and beverages without too much fat or sugar. As of December 2011, San Franciscan restaurants will no longer be able to offer free toys with meals unless they meet the requirements.
